The responsibility for organising TE services will be transferred to municipalities at the beginning of 2025. Around a hundred services and tasks and the personnel responsible for them will be transferred from TE Offices, ELY Centres and the KEHA Centre to municipalities. TE Offices will be abolished, and TE services will become municipal services.

If you are a TE services client living in Espoo or Kauniainen, you do not need to do anything special just because the service provider changes to the City of Espoo on 1 January 2025.

For us, the TE services reform means that starting from 1 January 2025, Espoo and Kauniainen will form a joint employment area.

The employment authority of the employment area of Espoo and Kauniainen will be the City of Espoo.

  • Espoo will organise TE services for residents of Espoo and Kauniainen.
  • Espoo will organise TE services for businesses and communities.
  • Our office in the Sello shopping centre in Leppävaara will remain in place.
  • Our office on Piispanportti in Matinkylä will remain in place.
