“Som barn låg vi i gräset  (“As Children, We Lay in the Grass”) – A Sing-Along Concert Featuring New and Old Children’s Songs

Performers: Johanna Almark, Wegelius Chamber Strings, and Jammarkören

“Att leva i fred, kunna höra musik och leva vårt liv utan sorg och krig (“To live in peace, to hear music, and to live our lives without sorrow and war,”)” sings rapper Yadi on the children’s song album “Som barn låg vi i gräset,” released by the Martin Wegelius Institute.

Singing together, singing for and with children, has always been a way to create security, togetherness, and hope for the future. With the sing-along concert “Som barn låg vi i gräset ,” we aim to strengthen and continue this tradition.
