Svenska veckan: Stand up in Swedish

Welcome to an evening of Stand-Up in Swedish! Granin Klubi is celebrating Swedish Week with stand-up comedy for young people, their parents, and anyone else who wants a good laugh.

The humor has a high relatability factor with jokes about what it’s like to be a Swedish-speaking-Finn in Finland, the dating scene in the Swedish speaking cities, and other anecdotes from the comedians’ everyday lives.

The event will be hosted by comedian Märta Westerlund. She has been doing stand-up since 2019 and is an active comedian at the Swedish-speaking practice club Top Floor Comedy in Helsinki. In the fall of 2023, Märta Westerlund debuted with her own show Är livet ett skämt? (Is Life a Joke?) Joining her on stage are Jeremia Högnabba and Top Floor Comedy’s new star Felix Stråhlmann.
