Inside/Outside the Box III

Welcome to the opening party 3.5!

The Cultural Services in Kauniainen Grankulla is welcoming the writer, visual artist and artesan goldsmith Heidi Von Wright to the Gallery for the month of May.

The exhibition Inside/Outside the Box III consists of a number of geometric watercolours, acrylic paintings and drawings in oil pastel, where colour and form are central. The square is the most frequently recurring form, but other compositions also show their inherent colours. Heidi von Wright paints intuitively, her paintings are poetic compositions.

The current exhibition is a continuation of the exhibition that Heidi von Wright showed at in Ekenäs in January 2023, and in Vaasa in March 2023.

Heidi von Wright is a writer, visual artist and artesan goldsmith living in Sundom. She has published nine collections of poetry and a chapbook since her debut in 2003. Her latest collection of poems Autofiktiv dikt av Heidi von Wright, S&S, 2020, was nominated for the Nordic Council Prize 2021.
