Acoustic Dixie Six feat. Nina Lindroos – 25th Anniversary Concert

Come to the Uusi Paviljonki and celebrate 25 years of joyful and traditional jazz music together with the band Acoustic Dixie Six and Nina Lindroos! Acoustic Dixie Six is celebrating their 25-year career in traditional jazz with a festive anniversary concert on Saturday, November 23rd at 6 PM.

The band’s soloist will be the charismatic singer Nina Lindroos. Acoustic Dixie Six is one of the Finlands most popular traditional jazz bands and has performed at jazz events and clubs both in Finland and abroad. In 2024, the band has performed at festivals such as the Brussels Jazz Weekend in Belgium in May, the Göteborg Classic Jazz Festival in Sweden in September, and Jeppis Jazz in Jakobstad in Finland in October.

Grankulla resident Nina Lindroos has performed with Acoustic Dixie Six since 2009 and also collaborates with many other local jazz and rock bands.
The band’s musical leader and trombonist, Bengt-Ove Fagerhed, also lives in Grankulla. The other members of the band are Niklas Andersson (trumpet), Olli Salmi (clarinet), Petri Tötterman (banjo), Marcus Weckström (tuba/sousaphone)/Oskar Fagerhed (double bass), and Juho Peltoniemi (drums).
